I have a thing for flat screens, be it monitors or televisions. A marvelous step forward, in the field of technology. The older cumbersome monitors used to take up the entire desk, besides which there was space only for a keyboard. I was done working with the old CRT crap. The space required is drastically reduced along with the increase in the quality of the picture. And now the best thing is that flat screen are become so cheap because all this is become conventional.



Everywhere I go now there are various cheap flat screens on offer. To buy a cheap flat screen has become so simple, that u just can’t imagine. For that matter I just happened to fall over a stack of cheap flat screens when I ventured out the other day. Soon after which I was it on the head by a cheap flat screen, which just seemed to fall out of the sky. After having to stay a few weeks in the hospital, recovering, I headed home to connect my new monitor and try it out. It operates just as good as the more expensive ones.



Ok, fine I accept that it is not THAT straightforward to buy a cheap flat screen monitor, but you have to admit that the prices have fallen a lot since they first came into the market. I am quite happy that I didn’t pay over a grand a few years ago for the same thing that can be obtained for less than three hundred dollars. Besides being cheaper they are also far more reliable than before. There were a few problems with the initial models but now it is a different picture. Even if you buy a cheap common brand, you can still be sure of the fact that you are getting a good product.



Well the cheap flat screen didn’t actually fall on my head, but Costco provided me with one at a good deal for one when I had gone to do some food shopping. Costco can provide you with just about anything you require and that is the best thing about then. Then might not posses a wide variety of things, but do include a bit of everything and at amazing prices.



A place that surpasses even Costco at getting a cheap flat screen is Fry’s Electronics. I would visit Fry’s no less than once a week, only if it closer to me. Sadly for me to get to one involves a lot of driving, but absolutely worth it to get a cheap flat screen
